Includes the same 60 credits each month as the monthly plan. Choose annual billing if you prefer one yearly payment rather than paying month to month.
Credit pack — 20 credits for $2.99
A credit pack is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
Purchased credits are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase.
This is a good option if you use Lantern occasionally or simply do not want a recurring subscription.
What does a credit pay for?
Credits are used when Lantern performs reading and card-recognition features.
- A reading uses 1 credit
- Scan Your Spread uses 1 credit
- Scanning a spread and then generating a reading uses 2 credits
Your journal, previously saved readings, and the rest of your existing practice do not require you to repurchase a reading you have already created.
What is included when I download Lantern?
Lantern includes more than a blank app waiting for a subscription.
Every new account receives 10 free credits.
The app also includes two free digital tarot decks:

- 1909 Classic
You can also use your own physical tarot cards without purchasing a premium digital deck.
Premium tarot decks
Lantern includes a growing library of digital tarot decks in different visual styles.
Two decks are included free with the app. Premium decks are available as separate one-time purchases.
Premium decks are $3.99 each.
Buying a premium deck adds that deck to your Lantern library. Deck purchases are separate from reading credits and subscriptions.
You never need to buy a premium deck to use Lantern with your own physical tarot cards.
Can I use my own deck instead of buying one?
Yes.
Lantern was built around using the physical tarot cards you already own.
You can shuffle and draw your own cards, enter them manually, or photograph your spread so Lantern can identify the cards.
You can also create up to three custom decks for personal use by photographing your own cards.
Custom deck images stay locally on your device.
Is voice narration extra?
No.
Voice narration is included with every reading at no additional cost.
Choose from Lantern's available reading voices and listen to the interpretation when you would rather hear it than read it.
Do I need a subscription?
No.
