Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Lantern Arcana Tarot, a tarot companion app developed by Lantern Arcana Studio LLC. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Lantern Arcana Tarot. By using the app, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

Account

You may create an account using an email address and password, or through a third party sign in provider such as Apple or Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Description of service

Lantern Arcana Tarot is a digital tarot companion that provides AI generated interpretations of tarot card readings for personal reflection and entertainment. The app allows you to:

• Generate tarot readings with AI powered interpretations
• Draw virtual tarot cards using augmented reality
• Photograph and store your own tarot cards on your device
• Scan physical card spreads for digital identification
• Save readings to a personal journal that syncs across your devices
• Listen to voice narration of your readings

Entertainment purposes only

All tarot interpretations and readings provided by Lantern Arcana Tarot are generated using artificial intelligence and are intended solely for personal reflection and entertainment. They do not constitute professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. You should not rely on any interpretation provided by the app to make important life decisions.

Credits and purchases

Lantern Arcana Tarot uses an in app credit system. Credits may be obtained through:

• A welcome bonus when you create your account
• One time credit pack purchases
• A monthly subscription plan that includes a credit allowance

All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies. Credits are non transferable and have no cash value. Purchased credits expire 3 years from date of purchase. Unused subscription credits do not roll over between billing periods.

Subscriptions

Subscription plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app's systems or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the app
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use the app to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Misrepresent AI generated interpretations as professional advice to others

Camera and augmented reality

Lantern Arcana Tarot uses your device's camera for augmented reality card drawing, card scanning, and custom deck photography. The camera feed used for AR is processed entirely on your device and is not recorded, stored, or transmitted. You may revoke camera access at any time through your device's Settings, though this will disable features that require it.

Intellectual property

The app, including its design, text, graphics, and AI generated content, is owned by Lantern Arcana Studio LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any photos you take of your own tarot cards, which are stored locally on your device.

AI generated content

Interpretations are generated by third party AI services and may vary in quality or accuracy. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI generated content. The same card combination may produce different interpretations at different times.

Disclaimer of warranties

Lantern Arcana Tarot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of harmful components. We make no claims about the accuracy or reliability of tarot interpretations generated by the app.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lantern Arcana Studio LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the app, including but not limited to damages arising from reliance on AI generated interpretations.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by other means. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
